Creating an Amateur Podcast Without a Microphone
It may sound funny, but I’m actually making a podcast without a microphone. Let me share this unexpected yet surprisingly exciting journey with you.
The origin of the idea
One evening in June, I suddenly felt the urge to try podcasting. Then reality kicked in—I took a look at my wallet and quickly realized how tight my budget was. Quality microphones aren’t cheap, especially if you’re just getting started.

Real-life experience
On a hot summer day, I decided to produce my first podcast episode entirely with TTS. I worked from my small bedroom, using an old PC. It felt like stepping back in time to when I first learned English through desktop software years ago.
